The GHTS series digital temperature and humidity sensors utilize original imported high-precision SHT series chips (such as SHT30, SHT31, SHT35, SHT40), perfectly integrating advanced CMOSens® technology with factory-calibrated temperature and humidity sensing elements. The probes are meticulously encapsulated using high-quality stainless steel or engineering plastics, offering excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance.
The sensors output calibrated digital signals directly via the standard I2C bus, greatly simplifying system integration and
fundamentally enhancing noise immunity and overall reliability. Designed to provide stable, accurate, and easily readable

Q2: How far can the I2C communication reach?
A2: The standard I2C protocol is designed for short-distance board-level communication; reliable communication distance is typically within 1 meter. For longer distances (e.g., 5-10 meters), additional measures are needed, such as reducing communication speed, using I2C buffers or level shifters, or opting for long-distance communication solutions like RS-485 (requires customization).

Q3: Does the sensor require calibration?
A3: Usually, no user calibration is required. SHT series chips are precision laser-trimmed and calibrated at the factory. The
calibration data is stored in the chip's OTP memory and is automatically used for each measurement. This ensures high accuracy and interchangeability of the sensors, significantly reducing user maintenance efforts.

Q4: Can the sintered stainless steel probe prevent condensation?
A4: The sintered stainless steel probe has good moisture and water resistance. Its sintered filter element blocks liquid water while allowing water vapor molecules to pass, enabling the internal sensing element to equilibrate with ambient humidity. Therefore, it can effectively handle high humidity and temporary condensation. However, for long-term exposure to condensation or direct immersion, a higher level of sealing design should be considered. Please specify this when ordering.
